Ryan Reynolds to Star in Thriller Buried
It’s always nice when actors that tend to go the more Hollywood route end up doing something really challenging and new for themselves. /Film reports that Ryan Reynolds (Adventureland, The Proposal) will star in upcoming film Buried, in a role that’s sure to come as a challenge, much like his role in The Nines. The film is about a civilian contractor in Iraq who is kidnapped and buried alive in the desert. Apparently he’s left with a candle, a knife and, strangely enough, a cell phone. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a “buried alive” film. This definitely intrigues thee.
