The Box Gets a Trailer
Well, Richard Kelly has been making quite a name for himself in recent years. After the cult classic Donnie Darko and the less effective Southland Tales, the director comes at us with The Box, a film about a couple (played by Cameron Diaz and James Marsden) that receives a mysterious box which encloses a button. What’s so fascinating about this button? Upon pressing it, two things occur: 1) an unknown person dies, and 2) one million dollars is suddenly in your possession.
The seemingly bland plot is made much more appealing with the film’s trailer, which showcases Kelly as someone who does know what he’s doing after all. Watch:
